Grandson of Albert & Mandel Bailey

Damon Harris is a housing strategist, entrepreneur, and community advocate dedicated to helping individuals and communities build long-term housing stability and economic opportunity.

With more than 15 years of experience in housing counseling, foreclosure prevention, community development, and nonprofit leadership, Damon has helped hundreds of families navigate some of life's most challenging housing decisions. His work goes beyond transactions—focusing on creating practical strategies that empower people to remain in their homes, become homeowners, recover from financial setbacks, and build generational wealth.

As the founder of The Bailey Project, Damon is reimagining how housing support is delivered by combining education, strategic planning, community partnerships, and innovative housing models. Through initiatives such as community hubs, homeowner strategy services, foreclosure advocacy, care housing, and real estate partnerships, he connects people with the professionals, resources, and opportunities they need to move forward with confidence.

His mission is simple:

Protect homes. Create homeowners. Strengthen communities.

Damon believes that housing is more than a place to live—it's the foundation for health, financial security, and opportunity. Every program he creates is designed to help people make informed decisions, preserve wealth, and build a stronger future.
